There is too much CO2 in the air. Current levels are over 400 parts per million (ppm). Scientists say levels need to be reduced to at least 350 ppm to further mitigate the effects of the climate emergency. The addition of heat to these chemicals creates a stream of CO2 that can be used for other functions.
