Direct Air Capture (DAC) is a groundbreaking and innovative technology that directly captures carbon dioxide (CO2) from ambient air. This pioneering technology is a beacon of hope in the fight against climate change, reducing CO2, a major greenhouse gas, in the atmosphere. The captured carbon will be utilized in various industrial processes, presenting a sustainable and circular approach to carbon management.
Complex problems need innovative solutions
The global challenge of climate change demands creative and effective solutions. Direct Air Capture technology emerges as a powerful tool in this regard. DAC removes CO2 from the air. It helps cut the carbon footprint of every-day products. It supports a shift to a more sustainable future. This technology provides a steady, reliable supply of usable CO2. It enables industries to reduce their reliance on fossil fuels.
Recycle CO2, redefine operations
DAC is more than a carbon capture solution. It is a new way to manage CO2 supplies. By harnessing atmospheric CO2, businesses can establish a cleaner, circular carbon supply chain. It ensures a steady, sustainable CO2 source and supports global efforts to cut greenhouse gas emissions.
Direct Air Capture: the game changer for your supply chain
At the forefront of this technological revolution is our advanced DAC system. We've developed a DAC system that captures CO2 on-site, giving you unparalleled control over your CO2 supply. This on-site capture capability streamlines operations, shortens supply chains, reduces environmental impact and puts you in the driver's seat of your sustainability efforts.
The three-step DAC process
The Direct Air Capture process involves three main steps: adsorption, desorption, and release.
1. Adsorption
In the first step, a specially designed filter captures CO2 from the air. This filter will trap CO2 while letting other air components pass. This process concentrates the CO2 from the air, making it available for the next stage.
2. Desorption
Once the CO2 is captured, the sorbent material containing the CO2 is heated. This heating process, known as desorption, releases the captured CO2 from the sorbent. The desorbed CO2 will be collected and processed further.
3. Release
In the final step, the CO2 is delivered as a compressed gas stream. Depending on the requirements, the CO2 is supplied at various purity levels or even in liquid form. This versatility allows for many uses of the captured CO2, such as in the production of carbonated beverages, in greenhouses to enhance plant growth, or in industrial processes like chemical manufacturing and carbon sequestration.
The future of Direct Air Capture
The potential applications and benefits expand as we continue to develop and refine DAC technology. DAC is at the forefront of climate innovation. It supports carbon-neutral fuels and carbon negative products. We extract CO2 straight from the air, forging a sustainable future ahead.
Direct Air Capture technology significantly advances our fight against climate change. DAC captures CO2 from the air and makes it usable.
